General
What is Vitalz?
Vitalz is a feedback and questionnaire tool. You describe what you want to learn; it drafts a well-designed questionnaire, you share it by link or QR, and it turns the responses into a clear, honest report — your score, what's driving it, what people said, and where to focus next.
Who is it for, and what occasions?
Any business or organiser who wants real feedback: cafés, clinics, salons, gyms, retailers, tuition centres, professional services and more — plus one-off occasions like events, seminars, workshops and courses, and internal uses like employee engagement or exit interviews. You pick your industry sub-segment so the questions fit your exact trade.
How is Vitalz different from a normal survey tool?
Two things. First, the AI builds a questionnaire tuned to your trade and your objectives rather than making you start from a blank form. Second, the report does the analysis for you — NPS, the drivers that move satisfaction most, themes from comments, how groups differ, and trends over time — written in plain language, not just charts.
Do the people answering need an account?
No. Respondents open your link or scan your QR and answer anonymously on their phone — no login, usually under a minute. Only you, the owner, need an account.
Honesty & accuracy
Why do you say Vitalz is 'honest'?
Because it only ever reports what your own respondents actually said. It shows counts instead of percentages until your sample is big enough for percentages to be trustworthy (30+), it describes associations rather than claiming cause and effect, and it never invents a response rate or compares you to other businesses. The report tells you how confident to be in it.
Is the analysis AI-generated?
The numbers — NPS, key-driver analysis, segments, trends and the written trend summary — are calculated directly from your data, so they can't be made up. AI is used only to cluster your open-ended comments into themes and to draft questions; those are clearly presented as such.
What if I only have a few responses?
Vitalz still gives you a read, but labels it honestly: the deeper driver analysis unlocks at six responses, percentages appear at thirty, and small groups in any breakdown are flagged so you don't over-read them. It's designed to never oversell a thin sample.
Building your survey
How does the AI builder work?
You give it the occasion, your objectives (what you want to learn), how you'll collect responses, and your industry. It drafts a questionnaire scoped to those objectives — the right length for your channel, plain wording, no leading questions — which you can edit, reorder, add to or remove before you publish. A 'Polish wording' button cleans up anything you've typed.
What question types are there?
1–5 rating scales and a 0–10 recommend (NPS) question as the backbone, plus single choice, multiple choice, yes/no, dropdown, short text and number questions for everything else.
How many questions should I ask?
As few as get you a clear answer — shorter surveys get finished, so Vitalz sizes the questionnaire to how you're collecting. As a rough guide: a QR code at the counter or table works best at 3–5 questions (about 30 seconds); an emailed or messaged survey can run 8–12; a post-event, post-course or seminar feedback form sits around 6–10 while it's still fresh; and a deeper, in-depth study — where people expect to spend time — can go 12–20. Past roughly 20 questions, completion drops off sharply. Vitalz drafts to the right length for your channel automatically, and you can add or remove questions before you publish.
Collecting responses
How do people respond?
Share a tokenised link or a QR code. You can put the QR on a table or receipt, or send the link by email, WhatsApp, Telegram or SMS. Responses come in live and the report updates as they arrive.
Are responses anonymous?
Yes. Vitalz doesn't ask respondents to identify themselves unless you add a question that does. That tends to get you more honest answers.
The report
What's in the report?
Your overall satisfaction, NPS and a composite health score; 'your priorities' (which areas most drive satisfaction and where you're weak); a breakdown of every question; how different groups answered; the trend versus the previous period; themes and real quotes from open comments; recommended next steps; and a methodology note.
Can I download or share it?
Yes — download a branded PDF, or send a read-only report link to your team or partners without them needing an account.
What is NPS and key-driver analysis?
NPS (Net Promoter Score) is the share of promoters minus detractors from the 0–10 recommend question. Key-driver analysis looks at which parts of the experience track most closely with overall satisfaction, so you know what to fix first for the biggest effect.
Pricing & credits
Is there a free plan?
Yes — 50 responses a month, with the full AI builder and the full report. No card required.
How does pricing work?
One response uses one credit. Subscriptions give you a monthly allowance at a lower per-response rate (from $19/mo); credit packs are pay-as-you-go and never expire. The more you run, the lower your effective per-response rate. See the pricing page for the full table and a side-by-side feature comparison.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Your survey pauses collecting — you're told clearly in your dashboard, and no responses are lost or overcharged. To keep going you have two options: wait for your monthly allowance to refresh (on a subscription), or top up instantly by buying a credit pack — the same pay-as-you-go packs used for one-off surveys. Top-up credits never expire and stack on top of your monthly allowance, so anything you buy stays yours.
Can I pay by card now?
Card checkout is launching shortly. The Free plan works today; paid plans are marked 'coming soon' until checkout goes live.
Data & privacy
Where is my data stored?
Securely in a managed database, tied to your account. Your responses are yours.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. Vitalz does not sell respondent data or use it to benchmark you against other businesses — the whole point is an honest read of your own customers.
